Frequently Asked Questions
- Why has the decision been made to discontinue LMI for All?
LMI for All was established in 2012 to help individuals and businesses make informed decisions about careers using high quality labour market information. Since then, a number of other sources of information on labour market and skills has been made available, including the Unit for Future Skills’ Local Skills Dashboard and the Skills for Careers website. In addition, there has been uncertainty around the usage of LMI for All, with limited evidence quantifying its impact. Therefore, the Department for Education has made the decision to discontinue LMI for All and strengthen its signposting to alternative data sources.
